Pregnancy and your professional life can go hand in hand. I recommend all my patients to continue with their work till 3rd trimester of Pregnancy, unless advised otherwise by your Doctor. Being taken part in work, and meeting people professionally and socially will minimize your stress levels.

2.Is it safe to travel during Pregnancy?

You can securely travel throughout your Pregnancy till 3rd trimester (30 weeks of Pregnancy); unless advised otherwise due to high threat Pregnancy.

Walking is usually suggested at all stages. Your Gynecologist might also recommend on certain Pelvic workouts to improve opportunities of Normal Delivery.

3.Tips that can help me remain comfortable throughout Office Work?

• Take short walk after every 2-3 hrly.

• Drink Plenty of Water.

• Take Small snacks to prevent hypoglycemia- Fresh Fruits/ Dry Fruits.

• Avoid consumption of Tea/ Coffee/ Aerated beverages- Replace it with Coconut water/ Fresh Juice.

• Frequently change your sitting position.

• Antacids/ Anti-Emetic medications need to be kept useful (as recommended by your Doctor).

• Wear Comfortable loose clothing- Opt for Maternity Pants.

• Stay away from Active & Passive Smoking; and Alcoholic beverages.

Tips for a Normal Pregnancy Outcome.

" It's a MYTH that you need to consume for TWO during Pregnancy.
Instead, you must consider eating TWICE as Healthy. ".

CALORIE INTAKE: The normal requirement during Pregnancy is 300- 400 Kcal per day over & & above your regular intake. Daily calorie count ought to remain in the range of 2200- 2500 Kcal each day for singleton pregnancy.

In case of twins or triplet Pregnancy, an additional 300 Kcal each day for each fetus.

Pregnancy cravings are common- Avoid Fried food and oxygenated soft drinks; opt for fresh fruits & & fruit juices without preservatives.

BABY NUTRITION: The fetus derives its nutrition from the Amniotic fluid. To preserve maximum fluid and electrolyte balance, you need: 2-2.5 litres of water intake daily; Coconut water and so on, as recommended by your Doctor.
